The British Red Cross £10 support offer

Terms & Conditions

  • For all new customers who are UK residents and purchase an Eligible Policy with the Promoter between 19 November 2016 and 28 December 2016, we will make a £10 payment to The British Red Cross (Charity number 220949) (“payment”).

  • Subject to the Exclusions below, an ‘Eligible Policy’ means either a car insurance policy or home (combined buildings and contents) insurance policy, purchased between 19 November 2016 and 28 December 2016, with a policy start date on or before 27 January 2017.

  • Your Eligible Policy must be in force for a minimum of 30 days in order to qualify for the payment.

  • A new customer is someone who has not had another policy of the same type as the Eligible Policy from the Promoter within the last 12 months (see the Exclusions section below).

  • There is no requirement to enter a code as we will identify all eligible customers applying over the telephone and through the Promoter website.

  • Only one payment per Eligible Policy purchased.

  • We will make the payment during March 2017.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, modify or terminate the payment arrangement in whole or in part in the event that it is necessary to do so.

  • The terms and conditions of this payment do not alter or vary the terms and conditions of any insurance policy which may be purchased.

  • Applications are subject to our normal terms and conditions including our underwriting criteria. Car insurance is normally available to customers aged 17 - 75 years old.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to decline any application for any insurance policy at its absolute discretion and is not obliged to disclose any reason for rejection.

  • References to “we” and “us” mean the Promoter.

  • To be considered to be a new customer and to be eligible for the payment, in the last 12 months you must not have held:

    • in relation to car insurance, another car insurance policy with the Promoter covering the same vehicle; and

    • in relation to home combined buildings and contents insurance, another home combined buildings and contents policy with the Promoter covering the same address.

  • The payment will not be made in relation to Young Driver or Eco Insurance policies, or any policies purchased via price comparison websites (including any quotes starting AGG).

  • The payment will not be made where customers buy a single home insurance policy (e.g. buildings only or contents only), as an Eligible Policy for home insurance is limited to a combined buildings and contents policy only.

  • If you cancel your Eligible Policy within 30 days of the start date, the payment will not be made.

  • The payment will be made to The British Red Cross only, no other charity can be nominated by the new customer.
