Fees and charges

We want to make sure you’re clear about what we charge you for and when.

£45 missed appointment fee

This fee applies if you do not attend an appointment to:

  • install
  • repair
  • inspect
  • replace a black box

The fee also applies if you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice.

£90 black box removal

This fee applies if you want the black box removed when you:

  • sell your car
  • cancel your policy

You do not need to remove the black box. It can stay in your car but may still send non-personal data to Wunelli.

£90 changing your car

 This fee applies in your first year and covers the cost of fitting a new black box in your car.

The fee drops to £39 in later years.

£15 making a change to your policy

For example, changes to your:

  • name
  • address
  • named drivers

This fee is on top of any changes to your premium that your changes may cause.

£30 rejected direct debit payment

This fee applies to any unsuccessful collection of a monthly instalment.

The fees shown below apply as well as a pro-rata charge for time on cover.

If we declare your policy void on the grounds of fraudulent activity, we will be entitled to keep any premium you have paid.

Payments and refunds

If you have paid by credit or debit card we may take extra payments from, or make refunds to it.

We’ll only hold on to your card details for the time you have a policy with us. We hold your data according to the payments card industry data security standards.

We’ll let you know in writing 14 days before any request for extra payments or refunds.
